Ohio

Ohio is new to the Women’s White Collar Defense Association as of June 2015 with its Chapter located in Columbus, Ohio. The Ohio chapter is inclusive of members practicing throughout the state, including Cincinnati and Cleveland. We encourage active participation in events and networking opportunities. Conference calls are utilized for everyone to remain informed of upcoming events.

The Ohio Chapter is comprised of experienced litigators who are well versed in State and Federal practice and procedure. Members are barred in the Southern and Northern Districts, which make up the federal district court jurisdiction of the state. Practice areas of members include, but are not limited to, corporate and individual representation stemming from public corruption investigations, health care fraud, bank fraud, finance and securities, regulatory and tax issues.

It is our goal to provided women lawyers and consultants with opportunities to build and strengthen their networks, and to be a resource for each other. In coordination with the Association’s national membership, Ohio members hope to build relationships that can raise their profiles as well as those of women in white collar globally.

Members’ practices range from solo and boutique firms, to larger firms with a nationwide presence, which have offices in Ohio. Ohio has a diverse economy, with 27 Fortune 500 companies calling the Buckeye State home. As Ohio’s capital, Columbus is the 15th largest city in the country, and is the home to many small businesses, as well as headquarters to some of the country’s largest corporations.
